Particularities

The oil cake produced during the extraction process of linseed oil is gently ground into a fine flour. We mainlyuse golden linseeds for the production of our linseed flour but also offer brown linseed flour upon request.Linseed flour should be a component of any healthy diet, as it provides the body with important nutrients suchas calcium, iron and vitamin E. It stimulates digestion and ensures a good intestinal flora and physical wellbeing.

Difference between brown and golden linseed:

The main differences between linseed flour made from golden and brown linseed, respectively, are their fattyacidprofile and swelling properties. Golden linseed flour contains more linoleic acid (omega-6 fatty acid) andless alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3 fatty acid) than linseed flour made from brown linseed. It also has betterswelling properties.
