We use the highest grade of blanched, sweet almonds from Italy – Sicily, to be precise – for our cold-pressed, organic almond oil. When we receive our raw materials, we make sure they are pure and of the best possible quality. To produce high-grade organic almond oil and protein, we need to process the best almonds. Of course, other important factors are the long-standing experience of our production manager and the state-of-the-art technology at our site in Niederkrüchten-Dam, which has been certified to IFS-Food standards.
Organic almond oil – field of application
For many years, almond oil was primarily used for baby skincare and in natural cosmetics, as it is easily absorbed by the skin without leaving a greasy film behind. It is excellent for sensitive skin.
Cooking with cold-pressed almond oil
Almond oil lends a subtly nutty, marzipan note to fish, salad, asparagus, desserts and all sorts of other dishes. We recommend that you drizzle the oil on your food after cooking to avoid destroying its great characteristics.
