Development of new products

Over the course of the past years, German consumers gradually adopted a new way of thinking about food. People have started being more aware of their diets and preferring healthy food – either for medical reasons or simply in order to be healthier, fitter and slimmer. New dietary trends and fads come and go; some disappear quickly, while others are here to stay. In the face of these changes, the food industry has to adapt to consumer preferences. At OPW Ingredients, we have been offering a wide variety of healthy products for years, but we, too, need to advance continuously. To do this, we start with a new project and develop a range of new products. This includes several bread mixtures we will produce from our speciality flours and premium proteins made in Niederkrüchten Dam. They will also include our various flours and proteins: pumpkin seed protein, rice protein, almond protein and a wide range of other products from our own facilities. Our bread mixtures will be gluten-free, vegan and low-carb. The first bread mixture is almost ready to go – we hope you are already excited to try something new! Our product focus, besides the whey and proteins, is geared towards our vegetable oils: almond oil, walnut oil, apricot kernel oil, castor oil, castor oil derivatives, skincare oils, sebacic acid and the world of organic and gourmet oils.
